- When the person who needs the morning after pill is not keen to answer questions about their health and sexual activity in a pharmacy, and would prefer to consult a doctor privately. A prescription in this case would be proof that a doctor has already determined that a morning after pill is indicated and safe, and the pharmacist would not need to ask questions again.

- When the person who needs the morning after pill has a complex medical history which may make a pharmacist unsure whether it is safe to dispense the morning after pill. The cost for using this service is EUR 1, which goes towards maintaining the website. Our doctors run this service on a voluntary basis. If you are unable to pay this, please send us an email on map@doctorsforchoice.mt and state your reason, and we may waive the fee at our discretion. You do not have to pay the fee if you are under 18 years old. Remember that the fee is only for the prescription and does not cover the cost of the morning after pill.
